Jean Belin, holder of the Chair of Defence Economics - IHEDN, is the guest of the Aquitaine Regional IHEDN Association (Aqui-IHEDN) for a videoconference on the subject of the French DTIB, on Thursday 29 April 2021 at 6.30pm.
L’Aqui-IHEDN launches its 2021 series of videoconferences on the theme of Defence Technological and Industrial Base (DTIB), the Thursday 29 April from 6.30 pm to 8 pm.
Guest of this first opus, Jean Belin, the Chair, will take stock of the current state of strengths and weaknesses of the DTIB in France.
« The desire to be able to conduct defence and security policy freely and autonomously reflects the principle of strategic autonomy. This principle is reflected in particular in the need to consider as a defence capability in its own right the Defence Technological and Industrial Base (DTIB), which produces, maintains and improves the resources needed for this defence.«
