Christian de Boissieu, Chairman of the Chair's Scientific Advisory Board and Emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Paris 1, opened the conference. the Chair's annual conference on 2 December 2020 by taking stock of industrial policies and stressing the need to give priority to a European approach in the field of defence.
